Welcome to the world of forest bathing: reconnecting with nature for wellness.
In the midst of our fast-paced and technology- driven lives, it’s easy to forget the healing power of nature. Forest bathing originates in Japan, where it is known as Shinrin Yoku. It is a practice that invites you to immerse yourself in the tranquility of the forest. awakening your senses and nurturing your well-being.
Book your Forest Bathing experience
Forest Bathing is a slow guided walk where you engage in a series of activities that heighten your awareness of your surroundings and allow you to connect with nature. The experience aims to enhance your sense of well-being, relieve stress and encourage relaxation. Forest bathing offers many of the same benefits as meditation, but where we are often still during meditation and direct our attention inwards, in forest bathing we move gently through the forest and direct our attention outwards towards details in the natural landscape. For this reason, forest bathing can often be easier to engage with than meditation.
Forest bathing can :
- Reduce stress
- Provide support for anxiety and depression
- Boost relaxation
- Aid in lowering blood pressure
- Strengthen your connection to nature
Embarking on your forest bathing journey is easy. All you need is a willingness to slow down and embrace the forest. As a certified forest bathing guide, I will lead you through the forest, providing guidance and activities to enhance your sense of well-being.
Deep in Nature runs regular group sessions at local woodland settings. Private and corporate experiences are available on request.
